FLORIAN celebrated its 25th edition in Dresden from October 8 to 10, 2026, with 370 exhibitors from 12 countries. FLORIAN, the trade fair for firefighting, civil protection, and disaster management, once again impressed this year with market and technology leaders, numerous innovations, and an even more extensive professional program. Key topics included current operational issues such as hazardous materials management, lithium fires, technical rescue, and wildfire suppression. Eastern Germany is prone to wildfires; at FLORIAN 2026, the presentation of the latest technology was combined with an exchange of experiences. In total, the professional program included more than 200 presentations—ranging from the respiratory protection conference to the water rescue symposium and the special situations symposium.
